Takashi joined KIPB in 2006 and is one of the firm's most experienced patent engineers. He graduated from Tohoku University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering, providing him with a strong technical foundation for his intellectual property work.

Before joining KIPB, Takashi conducted scientific research for several leading national research institutes and industrial organisations, including the R&D Centre of Mitsubishi Steel and the Tokyo Institute of Technology.


His expertise lies in metallurgy and materials engineering, particularly magnetic materials, powder metallurgy, composite materials and automotive transmission technologies. He has also been an active member of several metallurgical societies and has contributed to technical publications, including research on stainless steel injection moulding and the measurement of elastic modulus using laser speckle interferometry.

 

Outside the office, Takashi is an avid student of history and enjoys discussing the major events that have shaped the modern world over the past two centuries. He is also a devoted fan of classic hard rock and hopes to one day tour Europe's historic landmarks by car.
